Did you just get a package of cornbread mix, and do what is in table ... and then mix in the jalapeño and a little hot sauce (even if you want, depending on the temperature of what you want)

Simply add the bacon

2 eggs
1 / 4 cup corn oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 1 / 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
